At the end of 2025: Let your words be followed by actions
While queer people are once again being made invisible and the rights they have already fought for are being called into question, we are standing up against this: with the only queer youth organization in Bavaria and one of the few self-managed youth organizations in the whole of Germany.
For many lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter*, non-binary, asexual/aromantic, queer, and HIV-positive teenagers and young adults, we are the first point of contact in and around Munich and then an important place to find support, meet friends, and simply be themselves. Our youth work is by young people for young people.
In order to continue offering a diverse range of LGBTIAQ*-focused services for young people, we need your help, especially in the current climate: our donations have fallen by 85% since 2022. Help us reverse this trend!

Snacks for Group Meetings
Our team leaders spend around €10 on snacks per group meeting.
Admission to the Climbing Garden
Admission to the climbing garden costs €30 for one person.
Leisure Trip Participation
The participation of a young person in a leisure trip lasting several days can be financed with €70.
Crafting Table
A new crafting table costs €250.
Leisure Trip Accommodation
Accommodation for the leisure trip from the frients costs €500.
Cleaning our Youth Center
The youth center and our office are regularly cleaned by a professional cleaning company. We spend €670 a month on this.
diversity@school
diversity@school needs around €1,500 a year for materials for the workshops at Munich schools.
Pride
The CSD is the largest event in which we as diversity München e.V. actively participate. For the parade in June, in addition to our information material, we also need two trailers with sound systems, which we rent every year for one day. This year it cost us just under €1,800.
Security
To ensure that our young people feel as safe as possible in the diversity Café, we hire a security company with queer-sensitive staff for the bar evenings. This costs around €3,600 per year.
Administration
Our association is growing and growing - and so is our administrative workload. We need an additional mini-job position for tasks such as updating our membership database (e.g., adding new members), printing membership cards or sending out information flyers. The costs for such a position amount to around €9,300 per year for us as an employer.
