With the IDAHOBIT* on May 17, all Bavarian CSDs open the Pride season. They have joined forces to finally push through an action plan in the Free State that has LGBTIQ* equality as its program and fights discrimination.
Such an action plan seems urgently needed. As documented by the LGBTIQ* office against discrimination and violence Strong! in the Sub for Bavaria, the number of offenses against the community is increasing throughout the state.
The protest march starts on May 17 at 19.30 at Marienplatz with rallies and then, led by the samba group "Ruhestörung", leads through the old town via Maximilianstraße towards the state parliament. At the Maxmonument, the procession ends with a performance by the artist duo Ganymoney.
